Formally known as Outjo backpackers, we changed the name to Kai-Oms which is a word used by the Damara people and in direct translation, means "Big House".
We have carefully renovated and re-decorated all the buildings and we are especially proud of our communal kitchen. The surrounding gardens have been newly landscaped and the bird life is flourishing.
We are situated in the small town of Outjo which is known to many as the "gateway" to Etosha Pan and of course the world famous Etosha National Park.
Deon and Jaenny van Zyl welcome you to come and relax, enjoy our African hospitality and taste our traditional Namibian cooking.
